Just Say So is the first taste of the third Brian McFadden solo album Wall of Soundz.
The album started life as a side-project McFadden embarked on with American songwriter Rob Conley, an electro whizkid behind hits for Darren Hayes, Axle Whitehead and Amy Meredith. So engrossed in the project was McFadden that he and Conley spent over 18 months writing songs together in Conley's studio on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
McFadden's record company were itching for a new solo album the follow up to McFadden's 2008's gold selling Top 5 album Set in Stone, which spawned the hits Like Only a Woman Can and the Potbelleez collaboration Twisted. 'A new solo album would have taken another two years to write. So Rob and I sat down and we decided that this was my new solo album' it was exactly where I was musically and made perfect sense' McFadden says the end result may have his name on it but it's a collaborative affair and formed a fresh new exciting producing partnership.
